ToolFee estimator

How much will my Bitcoin transaction cost?

Count the coins (inputs) your wallet will spend and the outputs you create, and multiply the resulting size by a fee rate. A one-input, two-output native SegWit payment is 141 vB; at the 30-minute rate of 4 sat/vB that is 564 sats ($0.46).

Sizes are standard estimates (signatures can vary by a byte); the method is on the methodology page. Exchange withdrawals use the exchange’s own fee, not this one.

Notes

How the estimate is worked out

Size = 10 vB of fixed overhead, plus each input and output at its standard size, plus 0.5 vB if any input is SegWit or Taproot, rounded up. Native SegWit inputs are 68 vB, Taproot 57.5 vB, nested SegWit 91 vB and legacy 148 vB. The fee is size × rate. More background: how fees are calculated and SegWit vs Taproot.
